This Glorious Mountain Temple

This Glorious Mountain Temple is a program celebrating the majesty of the natural world. Our central piece is Alex Berko’s stunning new work Sacred Place for choir, cello, violin, and piano. Berko draws on texts from the Jewish service and poets Wendell Berry, John Muir, and Rabindrath Tagore, weaving together a grand soundscape. Some of the other wonderful composers on the program are Undine Smith Moore, Ayanna Woods, Eric Whitacre, Colin Britt, and Samuel Barber.
