2024-2025 Season Concerts

Mass in G Minor | Ralph Vaughan Williams
Join us as Twin Ports Choral Project presents Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor along with other British works both historical and contemporary. Blending traditional liturgical elements with his unique harmonic language, RVW described his mass as an expression of faith and an exploration of the spiritual human experience. Come experience RVW’s a cappella mass in the beautiful Holy Rosary cathedral with additional works by British composers from the past and present, such as Coleridge-Taylor, Ken Burton, Bob Chilcott, Cecilia MacDowell, and Jacob Collier.

Hygge: Winter in Scandinavia
This winter, Twin Ports Choral Project presents HYGGE—an homage to the Danish notion associated with coziness, warmth, and conviviality—led by guest conductor Dr. Charlotte Botha. The program features Bo Holten’s Regn og Rusk og Rosenbusk, based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale “The Stone of the Wise Man”, alongside a smörgåsbord of lush choral settings by Edvard Grieg, Trond Kverno, Karin Rehnqvist, and Jan Sandström, and an indulgent selection of Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish hymn tunes and folk music.
