Virtues of Resistance

Join the Twin Ports Choral Project, conducted by Michael Fuchs, as we open our 2025–26 season with “Virtues of Resistance,” a program that amplifies voices of faith, community, love, and joy in the pursuit of justice and peace. Centered around excerpts from composer Tara Mack’s evocative work of the same name, the concert weaves together music and texts that speak to our current social and political climate—calling us to radical love, social justice, and a shared hope for the future. From the Venezuelan cry for help in “¡Ayúdame!” to the tender plea of “Prayer of the Children,” from the melody of “Adinu” to the determination of “Walk Together, Children,” this program invites us to listen deeply, stand together, and be moved toward courage and compassion.

The Sun Never Says

In a time when mass shootings, political violence, and division dominate our headlines and hearts, we ask: How do we foster deep community? How do we see one another as deserving of dignity?

Join Twin Ports Choral Project, conducted by Bret Amundson, as we open space—for grief, hope, and transformation. We invite you to listen with empathy, to envision a world where compassion isn’t rare but essential, and to reflect on what it means to be human—together.
